A bit about me...As of fall 2016, I'm beginning my journey as a classroom teacher here at Webster Elementary!

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my wife, Nicole, and our cat, Petra.  I enjoy biking, hiking, reading, traveling, practicing yoga, and simply relaxing and watching classic Star Trek or Doctor Who episodes.

My Education Journey...I began my path through education as a member of the Minnesota Reading Corps in their pre-K program.  Through MRC, I was placed at the a High-5 classroom at Northrop Urban Environmental Learning Center in south Minneapolis.  From there I was hired on at Northrop as a Special Education Assistant in the SPEN (Special Programing for Elementary Needs) program.  As I was doing this, I worked towards attaining my teaching license through Augsburg College, student taught in Kindergarten at Northrop, and was given my license in the spring of 2016.  From there, I worked as a long-call substitute at Pratt Elementary in the Kindergarten classroom and then I was brought here to Webster to teach 3rd Grade!
